There was no surprise when 13th rankedBelfius Mons-Hainaut (9-16) was outplayed on the road by ninth ranked Circus Brussels (14-11) 96-76 on Sunday. Brussels outrebounded Union Mons 39-24 including 25 on the defensive glass. Brussels looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American guard Jamison Overton (198-1999, college: Weber St.) fired 21 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. point guard Alexandre Libert (188-1990) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Circus Brussels players scored in double figures. Circus Brussels' coach used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. American guard Malik Whitaker (198-2000, college: Fort Lewis, agency: Starting 5) produced 15 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import forward Garrett Hien (206, college: Furman) added 22 points respectively for lost side. Brussels moved-up to eighth place, which they share with ZZ Leiden. Loser Belfius Mons-Hainaut keep the thirteenth position with 16 games lost.
